Need a antivirus recommendation

Someone help me recommend an antivirus,
with all the basic feature(malware an such)
and most importantly antivirus that can stop treat from connecting usb(pendrive,external hdd, etc)
and free and not to heavy

You asked for free opinions. MSE is free. Norton isn't. Like you, I have not heard of Gdata IS. There are free versions of avast! and AVG. you may want to consider those.

than that is not a "good" program, but i still not have any antivirus download since im post this thread..

Did you try free versions of avast and AVG? Something is better than nothing, so load some program.

i will download something probably this week, i will take a look at bitdefender,
avira n avast is it good? i probably take avira, what the dif between these two though?

my pc is currently fine and safe, just myself using it, no usb/malware threat at the moment when im in control

If you use Internet frequently then you must have to use full version antivirus like avast, Norton etc.In paid version you will get malware etc features

i currently using bitdefender, kinda good, just i not really know control the anti virus yet...
