Hi , im looking for a realling good gaming build and some of your knowlage.
Im looking for a build using x99 or soemthing else you can advise me.Some of my IT guys are saying go for the x99 they will be better for thr future and they have way better techology. but im clueless please help. advice and a build please.

The i7 Platform is already overkill for gaming. This system will perform better in some cases than the X99 builds.

Not to rude, but no point in a i7... Waste another 50$ on what? 100-200 mhz?


Personally, I'd wait on skylake. Only about 1-2 weeks away

With skylake coming out soon, just get 1151. New socket type for the new CPUS. Uses DDr4
