For the past week my PC has been suffering from shut downs and I desperately need help with a solution.
To fully describe the issue, while I'm gaming or using the web, my PC will randomly shut itself off, then turn back on almost INSTANTLY as if nothing happened, the whole process lasts less than half a second. I just cannot find the reason as to why my PC is shutting off for the life of me. The shut downs are not actually completely random, sometimes when I do specific things in specific games, it causes my PC to perform the whole turn off and back on thing, like when I'm playing Read Dead Redemption 2, I can play for hours and be completely fine, but the millisecond I begin a fist fight interaction with an NPC, my PC shuts off and turns back on, this is so confusing!

Things I've tried to fix the issue/changes I've made to my PC:
>Updated BIOS
>Updated all my drivers
>Got a new PSU
>Got a new CPU
>Got new RAM
>Using the PC on a fresh windows account
>Temps are fine

Throughout these changes, the nature of the shutdowns have changed, it went from the (no particular order) PC not even shutting down and instead just restarting, to the PC staying shut off, to the PC shutting itself off, then a few seconds later turning back on, as well altering how frequent the shutdowns occurred for better or for worse. This is just so beyond frustrating.

I appreciate any help anyone can give me, thanks.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

The only thing you haven't swapped out is the motherboard and I'm leaning to think that maybe the VRM's on the motherboard might be the root issue here. Have a fan aimed at the VRM and see if that helps.

Updated BIOS
For the sake of relevance, please mention the BIOS version for your motherboard.

Using the PC on a fresh windows account
So you didn't reinstall the OS in offline mode? Speaking of OSes, what OS are you on?

7800XT
You've mentioned the GPU's chip, what AIB card do you have? Since some AIB's ship their cards come factory overclocked.

Updated all my drivers
I hope you didn't use a 3rd party app to update your drivers. If so, that might be your root issue.

Temps are fine
How are you cooling the processor?

Thanks for responding, I don't know too much about PCs so bear with me

My bios version is 5021

My OS is Windows 11

I don't know what you mean by reinstalling the OS in "offline mode", all I know is that I reinstalled Windows without removing any of my files, and also tested my PC whilst on a newly made windows user to make sure there wasn't any potential software I had installed on my main user account that might be causing an issue

I did not use any 3rd party app for my drivers, I updated them manually

I am cooling my CPU via a Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE
