Hello.
I tried looking at the nvidia web page, but i didn't find any suitable driver there.
driver for nvidia 6100 says there is no compatible hardware.

I searched from web and found one thread that had a similar problem.
The problem was solved for him, but not for me... he used the Vista driver in compatibility mode.

I tried running the setup.exe from the acer web page for my display driver, but it keeps telling me i'm not on vista even if i run it in compatibility mode.

I got it working another way.
i hadn't installed the windows updates and after installing them, the display adapter driver came there automatically.

Thanks anyhow.

in my experience windows update is one of the WORST places to get drivers from (my co-worker had them blue-screen his home computer just last week), they work only for the beginning of windows installation. then you REALLY need to update them however you can, i still HIGHLY suggest you use the aforementioned 3DPChip utility (not adware, fully freeware) to get the driver for windows 7, i'm almost sure it has it but i cannot test as it is meant to run on the computer in question.

no no, i have no affiliation to the software at all, and i also completely forgot to mention (my deepest apologies) that i don't use the installer, every time i get a new version, i open the installer with 7zip like it was just a .zip file and i just extract the program and it's files to go with it (for 3DPChip all you need is the "3DPChip.exe" file, but for 3DPNet i extract everything) to my USB drive.

again my apologies, i forgot to mention that I've never used the installer, and I've been using 3DPNet for so long that I've since forgot why, maybe it was because of the adware, i don't remember.
