Hello, my name is Braxton and I currently studying IT at a university.

For my final, for my INFO1120 class, I need to interview a company that I would be interested in as a career. I need a company (not a hobbyist) that deals with electronic repairs and/or deals with computer building or repairs.

These are the questions I need to be answered if possible. Thank you in advance and ill be checking on any responses here in a day or two.

Education Background and Work Experience: What previous education and/or Work Experience is needed for a job like this?

Work Skills : What skills/education are needed in this position? List a minimum of three and explain how/where they are used.

Company Profile : Include information about (1) product/service of the company, and (2) how long the business has been operating. Include at least one more detail about the company. For example, this could be about the hiring process or future changes.

Observations:
The most important resources of a company are its employees. How do the employees treat one another?

What is the required attire (clothing) for the job?

Observations:
Companies use a variety of technologies. What different technologies are used at the company?

What other tools or equipment were needed for the job besides computers?

Lunch/break room|YES |NO |

First, full disclosure, do note that I edited your post to remove your last name and University ("Uni"). Do not post personal information on the internet.

Second, if you intend to go into IT/ electronics repair then it is in your own best interests to go out into your local community and professionally make some contact with local electronic repair companies.

Start with the HR staff.

They should be able to set up some sort of meeting interview with the applicable technical person(s) and a HR person who together will be able to answer your questions.

You must thoroughly brief yourself on the company beforehand and you should be ready to provide your written questions in advance.

Very likely to be Zoom meeting or telephone interview so keep that in mind. Socially distancing etc. for everyone's safety.

Thank you for that, I did edit it so the X's are not there. With that said, due to where I live there are very few electronic repair companies, supposedly less than 20 actual companies in the state according to google and ~2 within reasonable driving distance (not entirely sure if that is true). Most of them do not have a site or an easy way to contact them, such as, email. Though some do have a phone number to contact if needed.

I have gone ahead and attempt to contact some of them in which I am still waiting for a repair VIA email or the number called is no longer in service so that didn't help. This final is due semi-soon so I figured I would post on here in the chance of getting someone to reply to this with a company they work with/in or own.

I do not care too much about making a relationship or making connections with businesses in the same field due to the fact that I currently run my own business for electronic repair/computer repair. Though I do see how it could be helpful in doing so, but as it stands I just need to get this final done in time. And of course, I am not allowed to use my own company for this.

With you being in the business (as well as being a student) you must be careful about the ethical considerations involved. If someone called you and asked about your business think about how you would respond/feel if you later discover that that person is or could become a competitor.

Full disclosure recommended if someone does indeed respond.

That said, there are a number of Forum members who have or had their own computer businesses. Or someone else just lurking about may reply to your information request.

I cannot say one way or another if anyone will be willing to respond either in full or in part to your questions.

You may be able to gather some supplemental data by reading the "job opportunities" advertisements/solicitations for companies that fit your criteria. Some companies may list job benefits along with skill and experience requirements. Or have a website that does so - again "Opportunities" likely somewhere around the "About Us" webpage.

Last thought: Your university likely has a career center. Go visit them (socially distanced of course) - someone there may have a couple of contacts and/or ideas to offer.
