Hello. I need an Intel CPU for encoding ripped Blu Ray media using HandBrake. Also would like to mess around with virtualization, specifically ESXi server. It has to encode data at a reasonable rate (couple of hours not 6-12), affordable, and clock ability seems to be irrelevant for this build. So far the leading candidate is the i5 3470 mainly due to its affordability and doesn't seem as if I'm overbuilding. Any suggestions/comments are appreciated. Should be a pretty good build, here's what I have so far:

CPU: Intel Core i5-3470 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor ($179.99 @ Newegg)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H77N-WIFI Mini ITX LGA1155 Motherboard ($101.98 @ SuperBiiz)
Memory: Crucial 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1333 Memory ($69.98 @ Outlet PC)
Storage: Sandisk 64GB 2.5" Solid State Disk ($49.99 @ Microcenter)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($59.99 @ NCIX US)
Case: Cooler Master Elite 120 Advanced (Black) Mini ITX Tower Case ($43.13 @ NCIX US)
Power Supply: Antec EarthWatts Green 380W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply ($44.99 @ NCIX US)
Optical Drive: LG UH12NS29 Blu-Ray Reader, DVD/CD Writer ($49.98 @ Outlet PC)

Yes, I would definitely recommend the AMD FX-8350 for Handbrake as well as ESXi server (or VMware Workstation 9). Amazing performance for the money:
