Ok so I have a couple questions regarding my upcoming Christmas Day build for my son. I believe I have all the components to make this happen, I'm just not sure due to inexperience about the ram that I got. And the final yep that looks good or any advice.

Cpu: i5 6600k
Cooler: corsair h60
Mb: gigabyte z170 gaming 3
Graphics: sapphire r9 fury
Ram: crucial ballistic 2x4gb 2400 ddr4
Ssd: Samsung 850evo 250gb
Hard drive: western digital 1tb
Psu: evga supernova g2 750w
Case: thermaltake view 27
Fans: thermaltake riing 120cm I got 3, the case comes with one. Was going to try mounting the 3 on front with the cooler radiator and keep the one on the back as exhaust
Op sys: windows 10 that I'll boot from a flash drive. Already have product key that came with the cd, but no optical drive in case.

Then the accessories like corsair keyboard and mouse, speakers, mouse pad. He has a headset already so I'm good there. So as I mentioned before I'm kind of not rest assured that I made a good decision on the ram. But I think I got it all on here, any advice?

With overclocking a very good possibility(K CPU and Z170 board) I'd opt for the H70 or H80i.RAM type, module count and speed are all good. 16GB is the recommended amount these days.

Nice SSD

Nice storage drive

VERY nice PSU

Nice GFX card

Good case.

Not sure those AIO coolers have hoses long enough for a front mount. It will probably have to go on the back. Not sure.

Nicely balanced system.

Personally, I wouldn't get that Corsair H60.

The small (120mm) liquid coolers are no better than the good air coolers. But they are twice the price and noise.

The main reason 'liquid coolers' work, is because they can have more fin area to disperse the heat.
Obviously, you can't hang a 240mm radiator directly off the CPU. So you have to mount that elsewhere. On the case.
So...how to get the heat from the CPU to the radiator? The liquid.

But the smaller liquid ones like the H60 have no more surface area than the better air coolers.
Similar surface area = similar cooling.
Just because it is 'liquid' does not make it better.

But if you want it for the bling....do it up...:)

Also, is your son going to help you assemble it?
I faked out my grandson with that a couple years ago. He was 11 at the time.

(early Dec)
"Dude, come over this weekend. I need help putting a PC together"
'OK'

So he comes over, and actually assembles most of it, not realizing that it will be his system.
Christmas morning, when he opened that big box...I though his eyes would actually fall out of his head.

Well thanks for all the responses. I found some 2x8gb corsair vengence red led 2666 or 3200 I think I'm going to go for. I think they will look pretty good and reviews seem favorable.
I've been a little hesitant also on that h60 but for now if I don't overclock would it be fine?
How cool USAFRet that must have been so great! I'll be working all the way til Christmas so I was planning on just building it with him that day.
