Need a name for an adapter

so i found these two solar pannels in my warehouse that use the cigertte lighter adapter. i was wondering if there is an adapter that plugs the output of a cigarette lighter to usb and whats its name?

i'm guessing here but those solar panels are probably meant to feed power into a car's (or RV's) battery thru the cig lighter

not sure why you would want to connect them to a USB port - some solar panels have connectors to charge phones, but those connectors kind of indicate those panels are outputting 12V

You have to check what's there between the panels and the 12V car connector. If you want to have USB output on them, you're for quire a DIY project, and probably $100 in parts. Check sites like this for ideas.

Is there a USB "dongle"? A usb /w wiring, so that you can splice your device?

Don't just "splice" a USB connector to the panels! You can (and will) damage the device uou're going to charge!

Thats why you need a charge controller, a device which will regulate the voltage coming off the panels.
