Discussion Need a new motherboard, looking for suggestions

Hi,

I need a new motherboard (AM5) to go with the following parts. I'm replacing a defective MSI MAG B650 Tomahawk and I definitely do NOT want another one of those. Any other recommendations would be appreciated. This is a mid-tier build, so I don't need anything super fancy, something in the $150-$200 range would be best (or cheaper, I suppose). I prefer ATX form factors, but I'm open to all suggestions. Thanks.

That CPU is up to 65W so absolutely any AM5 MB with any VRM would work same. Unless you plan on substantial CPU upgrade like to 15 core soon all you have to look for beside format is equipment that comes with it. number of PCIe slots, M2 slots or what is built into chipset. PCIe lanes and
I/O ports like USB or others. Go by that and what you may need. like fo instance 600 series chipset has USB3,2-gen1 or gen2 and 800series USB4 for which there are no devices yet.
