Before getting started with suggesting GPUs I'd say you should invest in more RAM and a better CPU. That aside You should look into any AMD R9 270X+ card (R9 280 is selling pretty cheap atm) or any mid-range nVidia GPU. It's a mini tower I don't know the PSU though.

I would add more RAM but I have a 32 Bit should I upgrade?

I'm going to assume it has a OEM 300W PSU. The best card for that situation would be the GTX 750 or 750 Ti. Preferably one that does not require 6 pin power connection. Most do not. This is the fastest of the stock clocked GTX 750 Ti cards at present: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA24G28N5458&cm_re=pny_gtx_750_ti-_-14-133-530-_-Product

With the older dual core, that is about the fastest card you could use w/o major CPU bottleneck, anyway.

Alright I will put the GTX 750 Ti on my wishlist. Should I change my Power supply or any other parts?

Your best bet is to either use the 750Ti, or build an entire new computer. There's not much point in trying to improve it now, technology has improved too much.

This is a tall order for a few reasons.

The big problem is with $200, it's very difficult to upgrade a stock 7-year-old productivity PC to perform well on current AAA titles. Your CPU is a little behind the minimum spec. Also, you need 4 GB of RAM and have to install the 64-bit Windows (at least Windows Vista, but hopefully you're OK there). And you need a GPU and can use a 750ti, which is the best GPU you can get that can run on one of those lousy low output PSUs you get with basic pre-builts.

That's just to get to minimum. On $200, you may be able to get the 750ti, get up to 4 GB RAM, install the 64-bit version of your Windows, and cross your fingers that the C2D will be just close enough to the C2Q to get the game running. But I can't give any guarantee that it will be a pleasurable experience. To play on high, your best bet is to save up and do a new build.

Damn that's some depressing news. Thanks for the advice.

Alright thanks for the information you been the most helpful.

He specified "Memory 3.0 GB" right above the OS.

So am I still limited on upgrading the PSU cause my budget increased by another 150 dollars.

For $350 here is what you can do to your system:

You can save a little if you can reuse your memory, or just find another stick to match the 2gb stick. This will run GTA V, but not on high settings at 1080p, maybe on medium without any AA, unsure what your framerates would be. If that works for you then have at it. But keep in mind, if you can stash an extra $200 over the next few weeks or months you can build a whole new system for $550 by reusing your old case, optical drive, and HDD.

OMG thanks kudos to you my man.

Do take into consideration that while GTA V will be playable with this upgrade, you're still going to have long-term issues if you want to play another AAA title in a year - getting a slightly better ancient CPU and RAM will help you play GTA V in the short-term, but you'll have to revisit this issue eventually.

I'm mainly playing Team Fortress 2 and CSGO, Killing Floor 2 I already have a GTA 5 on my PS3 so it's all good. Thanks again you save me a whole lot of time!

Good luck! It's a fun game.

Thanks by the way I have 2 more questions. Is the Window 8 require to upgrade to a 64 bit or can I just upgrade from a window 7. And the last question is what tools are necessary to put all these parts in my PC. Sorry I'm new.

You'll need a disk. You don't necessarily need Windows 8, you just need a 64-bit edition and a disk (it's a full install).

Shouldn't really need much in the way of tools, though it depends on your case. Probably won't need anything more than a few screwdrivers. Long-term, I'd consider a bigger case as they're easier to work with.

Alright thanks for everything!

Oh... lol. I guess my eyes glossed over before I got that far. Yeah, agreed. More system memory needed.

Hey sorry about the late reply I went and got myself injured >.< but looks like you've been covered 😀
