Need a speaker with high quality crisp sound

I'm looking for a good set of speakers mainly for gaming and multimedia. Bass is not a high priority but i want very clear sound.

For accuracy, at a decent price, try M-Audio AV 30 or 40 speakers. They are a bit larger but sound great. Any of the M-Audio powered speakers are pretty good, and you can find them used at a good price.

I have a set of AV 30 and although the bass is not great, the response is very even and they are very musical sounding. The AV 40 have a larger speaker and should give more bass output with the same clean sound.
