Question Need a specific type of backup software that doesn't exist?

Hi. I'm hoping to find a file based backup software, not an Imaging software, that has specific properties that my now defunct software had. For twenty years I've used Handy Backup version 4.0, released in 2004. They are still in business with a current version which I purchased, but it doesn't have the properties I need. Every time I've built a new computer, over the years, I'd have to get a new serial number and they'd send me an email so that the registration would be on their servers, but this time, no response from them for a week despite a second and third email, and no other way to contact them.

I run three desktops and a laptop, all using the old, non working now, version of Handy Backup 4.0. I've spent hours and days creating many "Schemes" to do specific backups and I can't find any other software to mimic what I need.

For instance, my video/audio editing computer has 12 internal drives. I have this many drives so that my archived video isn't buried on external drives and I can access it quickly. But, I do have an external 22 terabyte drive that can back up all of those drives with one click. I also use several of those internal drives to backup internally too, so I have backups in the machine and also the external drive that swaps out another one in a safe.
Handy Backup allowed me to choose the multiple drives and folders I wanted to backup, and target whatever drive I wanted, and then would actually show the backup in progress, not a progress bar, but each individual file and where it was going. If the target drive had file on it that the source drive no longer had, or a name change on the source drive, it would be reflected on the target drive.
The really important thing is that with no compression, the Windows directory tree would look exactly the same on the target drive and was very easy to grab files if needed.
Anybody know of any backup software like this? I use Acronis for imaging incrementally every evening, but as I work during the day, I'm backup up often to both the internal drives and external drives. It was great because I could do file housekeeping an any drive and be sure that all of those changes were reflected with one click on the target drive while showing the exact directory tree uncompressed.
Any suggestions would be appreciated as I don't seem to see anything exactly like this.
