Okay so I need to reformat and re-install my windows 7 64bit Home Premium. I have my CD key. I just need to Reformat my Drive and refresh my installation. I used to just download the ISO from Microsoft and burn the image to a disc. Well they appear to have removed their freebie ISO files now. I wen't to Ebay and found this.

But I am unfamiliar with purchasing stuff on Ebay. Before I do I just want to know if anyone has experience with this or can shed their knowledge if this looks like it is what I want. Again I just want to reformat my drive. And re-install Windows. I have my key. Just no disc. I do know they still give out ISO files if you give them the product key, but everytime I do I get this message from the Microsoft site.

"The product key you entered appears to be for software pre-installed by the device manufacturer. Please contact the device manufacturer for software recovery options."

So with that I am basically stumped. So does the Ebay list look promising? Or is there another way to get what I need?

Problem with this is I am using my old HP computers windows 7 key. I built the PC I am on now about 2 years ago. Got a Windows 7 ISO image and wiped my HPs HDD so the key would not come up as in use (if it even does) And I just used the key after installing windows from the ISO file I got.

Though I lost the ISO disk I got when Microsoft was handing them out at the time. Judging by the replies only thing I can think of for an option is to wing it and buy the disk from the Ebay link I provided? I'll leave this thread up for a few more hours before I do incase of any new info

Thanks much for the replies so far!
