I just bought a brand new laptop, and I do not want it to overheat with time. I want to start taking care of it right now.
This is the laptop:
Sager NP8972 (Clevo P970EF)
17.3” FHD 144Hz
Intel® Coffee Lake i7-8750H
NVIDIA® 2070 8GB DDR6 MAX Q
16GB RAM
250GB SSD + 1TB HDD
Pictures here: https://www.xoticpc.com/sager-np8972-clevo.html
I need advice on which external cooling system should I get, that would be good and would work with my laptop (17.3", check the link for the pictures of height and width). Either a pad (that is big enough for it) or a vacuum. My budget is $40, please help.
I don't know how to use thermal paste, and I'm afraid to do so.
*Bonus: If not a pad, should I get a stand for it not to stay flat on surfaces? What could be a good stand, cheap?
