If you plan on OC'ing the CPU a lot, get the 2500k because its not as hot so it overclocks easier. The 3570k runs hotter so you won't be able to OC it as much. The 3570k has a very minor performance increase. Personally I think the 2500k is better only because of the overclocking capabilities but that is my opinion and if you're not going to OC then no the 3570k is a lot better than the 2500k.

Well for the most part was planning on overclocking my cpu during the future when I upgrade my motherboard for a overclocking compatible motherboard,also planning on overclocking my gpu and from what I heard you can get the 7850 to be at the same frame rate speeds as the 7870 if you do it correctly

I suggest the 3570k for you then. You can still overclock it quite high and the 3570k is better performance, also it's newer.
