Need advice for workstation budget build (~900$) for Solidworks 2018

I want to build a 900$ workstation (no monitor) to use with Solidworks 2018, mainly rendering & video editing. Below is the system requirement of Solidworks

Processor: Intel Core i7 or Xeon with high processor speed
Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit
Memory: 24GB or more
Hard Drive: Solid State Drive (SSD), maintaining at least 20GB free space
Graphics Card:
NVIDIA Quadro P600 (entry level), P1000/2000 (mid-range) or P4000 (high-end)
AMD Radeon Pro WX 3100 (entry level), WX 4100 (mid-range) or WX 5100 (high-end)

According to the suggestion of Solidworks document above: The rebuild process in SOLIDWORKS is inherently linear (parent/child relationship of features) and therefore can only use a single core. and the Single thread CPU benchmarks, I choose i5-8600k for my rig, here's the full list of components, do you think that's good to go ?

From your own original post "Memory: 24GB or more". You are doing two things that hurt performance/stability IMO. You aren't using all the memory channels the CPU has by using a single DIMM and you may not be able to upgrade in the future without replacing the RAM you have. Mix-and-match RAM is always a gamble.

you may also want to look into AMD Radeon Pro WX 3100 it maybe better than the P600 and only cost about $5 us more than the P600 on amazon right now but has twice the memory as 4GB.

32GB RAM is quite expensive these days, that's why I choose 16GB, I think I can upgrade later

btw, their minimum is 8GB
