Need advice on going 3D

I want to get a (passive) 3D monitor which if possible is at least as good as my current monitor in regards to 2D quality and roughly same size.

I play World of Tanks, Left4Dead2 and ARMA2 regularly.

Been looking at the Acer Acer GR235HAbmii, Asus VG23AH, HP 2311GT & LG D2342P-PN but not sure what to get.


My currrent setup:

Samsung SyncMaster 2433BW (24")
Intel i5 2500K
AMD Sapphire 6950 2GB
Windows 8 Pro x64

I'd recommend you go with a 3D Vision monitor, rather than AMD. I believe the first two on your list would work, but that also means a new video card. The main reason is support. 3D Vision is generally easier to use, but the big advantage is the mod community which fix a lot of games normally very poor in 3D.

Yeah I can't afford to get an extra, card, so it will have to be AMD 3D if anything.
