Need advice on larger capacity laptop HD

Currently I have a Toshiba laptop that is maxed out of memory at 320GB. I'm looking to install a larger capacity HD in place of the current (TOSHIBA MK3252GSX (320.07 GB)) hard drive.
I would appreciate any comments or suggestions regarding which replacement HD to get. Tell why I should get your suggested replacement; issues you've had, controller concerns, etc.

I recommended waiting for HDD prices to fall if possible. They are extremely high right now because of the flooding. When prices reach a more comfortable level I'd recommend a Western Digital 1 Terabyte drive.
