Question Need advice on placement of dual monitors

I was wondering that if i buy another monitor for 4k gaming ,should i sit it next to my existing monitor or above it? Because if i keep it next to my existing one I won't have to move my peripherals again and again which might not be possible .

But if i put new monitor above existing one, how am i supposed to look that far up without hurting my neck ? and it would be even tougher to use keyboard and all.

help??(i have no idea how this works)

They need to be side-by-side so both are at the correct height --- one above the other is totally impractical and ergonomically unsuitable.

I could not figure out what the issue was why the mouse and keyboard would have to be moved till the "put them in the middle comment" LOL

Either way, using just two monitors for gaming is a bad idea, there will be a large black bar in the middle of the game screen. Use one larger screen (or an ultra-wide) or three screens for front/left/right displays.
