Best is a seriously relative term especially with such wide price brackets. What are you looking to do with your system? And what is your total budget?

Depending on your taste and your specific aims you may be best served by any one of these three options:

1. Don't upgrade the motherboard or PSU, spend the saved money on a 8xxx or 9xxx series AMD chip and a baller graphics card. This will concentrate your budget into the components that matter the most.

2. Buy the cheapest Intel Mobo you can find, add an i3 of your preference (say £130 for both) then spend ~£180 on an R9-280 or similar. This will give you very solid gaming performance at a lower price tag.

3. Save your money and just upgrade the GPU to an R9-280 or similar...

Upgrade the processor and motherboard fopr sure. I'd go with an Asus M5A99FX Pro r2.0 and an FX-8350. You really don't need to upgrade your PSU unless you want to. Graphics card you could up to go with the new nVidia 960 or 970.

You can get the motherboard for around $130 US and the processor for $180 US. I don't know the price conversion so I hope I helped.

There's not many games where CPU power really matters and while a 4350 isn't the bees knees, it's good enough for most day to day uses. You can always upgrade the chip (and motherboard and RAM) later if you really need it, but honestly you would be shocked how few day to day things are impacted to a significant degree if your CPU meets the minimum.
