Hi. I am new to building a custom PC. So I need your advice on whether I have chosen the right components for the Upgrade.
I have decided to upgrade my old PC:
To new build I am planning:
Am not planning on buying a new HDD, decided to use the old ones that I have already. Am also thinking of using the same Case which house the DB75EN motherboard since both are of micro ATX form factor (a bit tight on budget ).
In India, things are a bit overpriced here, so this is the best I can find both price wise and performance wise. (Not an ultra high end system though but this satisfies my need 😉 )
I have another question, if the above build is all compatible, is 550W enough to power all of the above or should I go for 600/650W ?
I have decided to upgrade my old PC:
Core i7 2600 3.4GHz (upto 3.8GHz)
Intel DB75EN Motherboard
Corsair 8GB (4GBx2) 1333MHz Ram kit
500GB x2 Seagate HDD
Radeon HD 6570 1 GB DDR5
450W PSU
To new build I am planning:
Core i7 7700k (INTEL 7TH GEN, LGA1151 SOCKET, 8M CACHE, UP TO 4.50 GHz)
ASUS ROG STRIX Z270G GAMING (INTEL SOCKET 1151/7TH AND 6TH GENERATION CORE SERIES CPU/MAX 64GB DDR4-4000MHZ MEMORY)
Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB 2x8GB DDR4 DRAM 3200MHz
ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1070 Mini 8GB GDDR5
CORSAIR SMPS CS550M - 550 WATT | Semi Modular
