Build Advice Need advice & tips for my PC build

I am planning to get myself a new computer. And I am having a hard time on the cooling and whether can the case contain the components that I am interested in. Please advice on whether what should I take in consider and whether is the build compatible?

Cpu- i9-9900K
Mobo- Asus ROG Maximus XI Hero (Wifi)
Gpu - Asus RTX 2080 ROG Strix (stand vertical using CableMod Vertical Mount)
Ram - 2 x 16Gb G.Skill Trident Z RGB - 3200
Ssd - Samsung M.2 970 Evo 500 GB
Hdd - Western Digital (Blue) 2TB
Psu - Corsair HX850i
Case - NZXT H500
Cooler - NZXT x42 Kraken (mount front top - intake)
Accessory - NZXT Aer RGB 2 Starter Kit (both fan to be place as exhaust fan at top and rear)
- NZXT Aer P140 (to be place at front bottom (under the x42 Kraken fan) to fill up the 140 + 140 fan slot for intake)
- replace to CableMod sleeve cables

So just wondering whether the cooling will be fine or not and the space ok for everything without like Gpu blocking the AIO cooler or etc?

Which site are you building this through?

I would advise against a AIO cooler in the NZXT H500 as the only spot is in the front as intake and the last thing you want is to dump hot air into a already warm system. If you want a AIO I'd suggest a different case and to mount it on top as exhaust.

Part wise everything will work together although I doubt the NZXT X42 would provide sufficient cooling for that 9900K.

I build this by viewing price list ans stuff my own.

Thanks for the advice what if the aio radiator mount on top then front take 2 intake?

Too bad in this case i really like the h500 design. If getting a tower fan then it will be less nice looking already, what a sad case. Previously i am planning to put in x62 but the radiator to mount front will be like super close to the gpu or not even able to fit as i am planning to do vertical gpu with cablemod which will extend 3cm to the card.

What about changing it to the H700? You'll have radiator support on top (up to 360mm) and still have that clean look.

I would want do vertical mount and it extends 3cm to the 30cm rtx2080 rog strix so by having x52 which can only mount front. i scared it will not fit

11.8 " x 5.13 " x 2.13 " Inch
29.97 x 13.04 x5.41 Centimeter

RTX 2060 Strix =
11.81 " x 5.2 " x 1.97 " Inch
30 x 13.2 x5 Centimeter

Mine fits with the front mounted and you get about 3cm before it hits the AIO - so enough room

Just so you know, as great as the Kraken is -the CAM Software is the worst software every written, its buggy as hell

If your going to stick with the H500 and a AIO for the CPU then get the X62 and mount it in the front as intake. I would use CAM software and set it for performance and then create a aggressive curve on the 2080 via MSI Afterburner or ASUS GPU Tweak II. This would be a bit better then using that 140mm AIO as exhaust. For smooth gaming (no thermal throttling) you'll want both CPU & GPU to be under 80C.

Then if the radiator stick ultra close to the gpu. Will it like affect the gpu performance?

3cm is fine.
I have been trying to be helpful and so has WildC, but if you don't want the 500 then don't buy it. Buy the bigger case... problem sorted.

Now right, while I am checking other cases. I found Lian Li O11 Dynamic and it is really nice too with so many fan slot as well. What do you think about this case? And like fan placement? I am planning to place NZXT x72 with the 120 x 3 fan then mount it on top as exhaust, then place 3 at bottom and 3 at the right hand of the mobo as intake.

It's a really nice case, something I was previously looking at myself but at the time was out of my budget range. That fan orientation would be good, also probably try to get some filters put in (if it doesn't come with them) for the bottom intake fans.
