so i got a brand new GPU r9 270x Toxic for birthday and im looking to upgrade y old CPU E8400 because im having a bad bottleneck

I aiming the Intel i5-4590 and im wondering, its this a good CPU for my GPU?

if yes,
a good mobo for it?

and offtopic i have 2 RAM stick 1x2gb and 1x4gb if im not wrong theyr bot DDR3 800, should i Upgrade this aswell?

i have a PSU Corsair CX600

im building this to play MMORPGS like Aion, Tera, ETC!

Any quality h97 board will work, upgrade the ram as well.

If the chipset and socket on the Motherboard fit the CPU, you should be good, given that this CPU has some power. definitely upgrade RAM though, know what slots to put them in (it's important) and get two sticks of the exact same RAM. I would recommend Ripjaws, but the choice is up to you. just make sure that the motherboard you're putting them on can support them. You'll be surprised how much RAM can speed up your rig.

Yup, that will work, make sure its cl 9 1600 ram, bunch of cl 11 kits have appeared.

I would stretch the budget and get the 4690K and a nice Z97 mobo.
