Question Need assistance with possible upgrade.

Hi there. So I'm thinking about upgrading my CPU. I have a i5 8400. I have a 550W power unit so im thinking is 95 W too much CPU for my system? I'm also running a RTX 2070 so I'm not sure if I can give enough power to all components without upgrading my PSU. Is it possible without upgrading PSU?

I think 550 is enough for rtx and i5. Given that you are using good brand.
Unless you are planning on overclocking your build, you are fine.
Cheap, Chinese, knock-offs don’t provide mentioned wattage.

I have a Corsair VS550 and an Asus MB Asus GPU and Corsair RAM. But my question is not about getting an i5, I was thinking about an i7 or something maybe. I can read that it uses 95W and my i5 uses 65. So is it needed to upgrade the PSU or should I be fine?
