[SOLVED] Need Assistance with Windows issues

Hello, I recently got a Baracuda M.2 SSD and installed it into my computer following a youtube tutorial. I couldn’t figure out how to transfer my windows from my old SSD onto the M.2 so I decided to just install a fresh thing of windows onto it and reinstall everything I needed. Since then my PC doesn’t fully power off, like the screen will go black but my PC is still running. As well as my start up is very odd and doesn’t seem normal. I assume I made some idiotic mistake and did a lot of things wrong here. I just now unplugged the sata and power to my old SSD and now my PC doesn’t even boot with just the m.2 . Any advice on what to do or how I can fix this would help. Thanks!

If you install with more than one drive, it will put Windows on the drive you specify and put the info for booting on the other. The only way to prevent this is to disconnect any other drives before installing.

The normal way would be to disconnect all drives but the one you want to install on, then format and reinstall. There may be other ways, but that's the normal way and the only way I've ever done it.
