I came here many years ago and had some great advice and have enjoyed my computer and used it for work and gaming for many years.

I have a nice case and 800w power supply and SSD and hard drives and DVD.

I need a new Motherboard, CPU, Memory and Graphics card(Been using a Radeon as I have 3 LCD monitors).

I need a best value that will fit my needs:
Fast compilation times with both Visual Studio and LAMP Stack.
At least 3 monitors.
Fortnight

Thanks for any suggestions.
Chris

I'm logging off for a while, but I think this CPU/Mobo/RAM would be a nice fit for your needs. It just needs a GPU, and that will depend on your budget.

I'm trying for under $1000.

Power supply is Cooler Master Pro 600w. It's 6 years old.

Thanks,
Chris

I would recommend a new power supply.

Intel is faster, but more expensive also. Twice the cost here for less than twice the performance. The AMD would work, I'm just showing you the Intel i7. Either one, is up to you. This Intel system isn't even the overlcocking one, that would require the more expensive K-series 8700K and Z370 motherboard. You can actually overclock the AMD system above, but a better CPU cooler might be desired for that.

And then there is AMD's higher-end mainstream CPU, the 2700X. It would have more multi-threaded capabilities than the i7.
