Need cooling advice

Hi, my tower doesn't have room on the back for an outtake fan. I do, but they are above my PS. So I was thinking on making a blowhole (intake) on the side pannel of my case, at the same level as my CPU.

Does anyone have a better solution or any additional advices?

dude do what i did, put 2 9cm fans in the side of you case 1 over the cards and 1 over the cpu both blowing in. then put one at the front blowing in and a 12cm 131cfm at the top as a blow hole >:)) as you can tell the noise dont bother me

call it overkill if you wish but i live in aust and we're in the middle of summer which entails 45oc days and i cant afford a/c because i is a uni student thus i am poor 🙁

I don't have any other advice except that you might want to experiment with the fan blowing in and out to see which is better.

Here's a good site to get some ideas/help if you decide to mod the case: http://www.speedy3d.com/case_mod/.

Cut a hole in the top of your case (not on the sides). And have the fan blow up and out. Heat rises, so this will just give it an easy way to get out.

They sell these fan at Comp USA that mount where your PCI cards go. They don’t plug into a pci slot, just covers one of the holes. Some Cases have more knockouts then the mobo has pci slots. If u think u have a knockout (I don’t know what else to call those metal tabs that block the slot when the case is new) that your not going to use, put a fan in there. They use a squirrel cage fan are supposedly very quiet + move lots of air. Might be the easiest solution.

I have 2 holes for fans on the back of my case, over my PS, so I will probably try to use these instead of adding holes in my case (I might save a finger or two since I am not really a tool guy LOL).
