Hi i'm at the moment building a new budget PC but i need to save some $$ so i was wondering if i could move my Intel Core i5 3350P into a new motherboard and if i could move my hard drive into another case and still have Windows 8 on it and is intel core i5 3350p good with the GTX 970/GTX 980 or should i get another CPU

Solution
"is intel core i5 3350p good with the GTX 970/GTX 980"
There is no compatibility issue to worry about between a CPU and a GPU.

If fitting a new motherboard you will have to re-install Windows from scratch using a Windows 8 DVD. You can't use the Windows 8 that's already installed on the hard drive, it won't start or run properly on a different motherboard. Wipe the drive and put fresh Windows 8 on it.

What if i do a system restore on it? And another question is if the Intel Core i5 3350P is good with gaming i'm aiming at atleast 50-60 FPS on games such as Far Cry 4 with this build http://pcpartpicker.com/user/saltnpepper/saved/#savedbuild_1662610 (Such as RAM i already have in my old PC will just move to the other case)
