Need cpu reccomendations

Hey guys ,
Basically I screwed my motherboard and am wondering to completely upgrade to the 1500x or 8350 black edition but I don't know what to do. It doesnt seem to significantly effect the GPS in gaming but people are saying am3+ hardwares outdated , does the extra 70+ quid justify going for the 1500x

yes they are outdated , the lithography of the cpu is apparently important . you gotta have a 14 nm a 12 or a 10 nm cpu for it to function properly in new games .

1. yes get the 1500x, its not just the cpu, the motherboard technology is far superior (number of pcie lanes alone from Am3+ is like 8, new motherboard have over 20 pcie lanes, making performance much better.)

2. its FPS (frames per second) not GPS (global positioning system)
