hi everyone this is my very first build and im torn on how best to cool my system with something that lasts, performs very well and doesn't damage my system (leaks etc.). this also taking to account which really is the best cooling system air vs water.
my cpu= intel i74790k
mobo= asus max heroii
gpu=msi gtx970 4gb
case= thermalchaser mk-1

I also recommend the H100, well the H100i to be exact.

Water Cooling will be a lot better for overclocking than air cooling if you want a quiet system. However if your not OCing then both are fine.

Well.. He is buying the K version of the CPU, so we have to assume he will overclock, right?
So he should definitely buy watercooling.

I also forgot to mention, what is your budget OP? Because air coolers are a lot cheaper than water cooling.

I can see the issue then. Haven't owned an intel CPU since Core 2 duo came out, lol.
Imho, I just can't see the worth for it over AMD.
