Need expert's opinion

A friend of mine has recently bought a new vga. His old one is hd 5770 xfx. I have the hd 6770 direct cu (asus). My options are:

1)Crossfire! I could buy my friend's vga for 30 bucks and buy a new psu (Is THERMALTAKE W0393RE BERLIN 630W enough? If not please recommend)

2)Save some money and buy a gtx 660

I know less about this than anyone else who will answer, as I have never run crossfire, but I would wait for the new card and not run cards that badly mismatched in crossfire.

Get the gtx 660 you will get the same if not more performance then running mismatched crossfire (that and you don't have to buy a new psu).

Mismatched crossfire? The two cards use the same processor. Check out the amd's site:

Same processor different architecture and bios (also the 6770 is more efficient then the 5770).
