Need for Speed: Most Wanted settings. Need help with AA/jaggies.

Hi, this is my first time posting so I'm not sure if this is the right place, please excuse me.

I just built my new rig not so long ago and I'm just a casual gamer. Anyway I just installed NFS Most Wanted and have been enjoying the game and the graphics so far. However I sometimes see the lines around the cars and stuff are not so smooth even though the game is running in the highest settings.

Here are my specs:

CPU: Intel Core i7-4770 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor
Motherboard: MSI Z87-G45 Gaming ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
Memory: Corsair Vengeance Pro 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Video Card: MSI GeForce GTX 670 2GB Video Card

So my questions are is this what is called the jaggies? If so then I guess changing the AA settings (which I have absolutely no idea about) would help? How can I improve the quality or is this the best I can get from my system? Or what I see is fine for a casual gamer like me as this is not that big of a deal for me. I just want the best quality from my PC as I haven't been into gaming for a long while.

Sorry I forgot to mention I did try to turn on Super Sampling in game before and the fps just dropped pretty bad. For 2x I usually get around 50-55 fps sometimes as low as 45 fps. 4x is even worse around 30 fps. As this is a racing game so anything below 60 fps is unplayable for me 🙁 I'm just not used to it.

Sorry I forgot to mention I did try to turn on Super Sampling in game before and the fps just dropped pretty bad. For 2x I usually get around 50-55 fps sometimes as low as 45 fps. 4x is even worse around 30 fps. As this is a racing game so anything below 60 fps is unplayable for me 🙁 I'm just not used to it.

This is the best result you can get then, for your specs. Supersampling makes a much better difference, however, uses much more resources--causing you slowdowns.

CSAA x8 should be more than sufficient for the visuals.

That's what I thought, the graphics are not bad though and I'm pretty satisfied. Just curious to know, what kind of resources were you referring to exactly? Is it my gpu or my cpu or something else? Would overclocking the gpu or maybe 2-way SLI gpus help at all with this kind of thing? I might try something next year probably.

There's too many variables to actually be able to say which specific piece of hardware is causing the problem.
You've got a pretty awesome set-up, So I'd say it's more than likely the GPU. However, we could chalk it down to bad programming too.

I played Most Wanted on my rig and it had quite a bit of trouble running, that could just be because the developers optimized it poorly, that's not to say that you won't be able to run other games with Supersampling x8 at a good framerate.

You could try OC'ing your GPU slightly to see if that helps, make sure to watch the temperatures though!

Win vista is not pretty good as win 7 because it have more bugs
