What I'm looking for in a reply is simply compatibility issues and better deals for a good, cheap gaming pc.
 
I would agree with dndhatcher about the 4870 being a little on the pricey side...for that much money, I would step to a 4890 for sure....The combo on the processor, mobo, case and psu are all great....
 
at this point, it would be foolish to get a 4 series video card.

you can get better performance at a lower price with a 5 series card. and its much more futureproof. the 5 series card are already improving in performance with new driver updates. they wll surely push much further ahead of the 4 series cards in the months to come.
