Question Need Good Monitor for Xbox One X

okay so im looking for a monitor for my xbox one x
what would best be suited for the xbox one x?
im guessing i need 144hz 1440p
would like 4k 144hz but well out of my price range

is 144hz 1440p overkill for xbox one x?
i have a budget of around £300

If it's exclusively for the Xbox then that is way overkill.
The X isn't going to play games at any more than 60fps.

But it does do 4K and 4K upscale very well.

So instead look for a 4K monitor at 60hz that has hdr10 support.

But at that point it would be better to just get a 4K tv that had hdr support like a TCL because you'll pay the same price or even less for the TV but will have a bigger screen

just get a good 4k tv for it. unless you are going to use pc with the monitor as well.
