Question Need help and guidance for newer upgrade "gaming " monitor!!

Hello
i am looking for some guidance on buying myself a nice upgrade to my current monitor.
my current one is the AOC u34g2gr3 and has done me well for some years.
im looking to get a nice upgrade when it comes to good color and fine attention to detail.
My current rig is running a 3080 and the ryzen 7 3800xt.
any help and info would be awesome i do game alot but i also edit videos for fun on the side.
budget around 800.

IMHO, the only suggestion I can come up with is going with an IPS panel;

but outside of that, I'd stick with what you already have.

thanks for a reply! i was trying to read into the IPS displays do they provide more color dynamic range and more pixels? finer details tro smaller lines on images as well?
