Need help are there different dvd

Well guys if any of u have seen my recent posts, i am upgrading my pc slowly and finally it has caught up with 2015 starting
But this is regarding a DVD reader
Which i have in my pc since 2009or 2011 dont know for sure.link to dvd given below

I was thinking of getting metro last light as it is at throwaway prices atleast here 4.6$ (300inr)
But the problem i m facing will my dvd support it as it is a DUAL LAYER DVD so will my dvd play it.
I have burned games out of this pc for my ps2 in past
So i know it works
And will i be able to play it

There are no single layer dvd players. If it plays movies it will play your disk. And this came off the specs of the page you provided
