Hey guys.Well , this is my first time building a PC.So far I always purchased pre-assembled PC's from shops and I've come to regret that (still waiting to play gta 4 ,mk 9) lamo.Last time I paid about Rs 50000(roughly 900 USD) for my gaming laptop about 3 years ago which was unable to run even gta 4.So I decided to assemble a PC myself this time.

My budget is about Rs 52000 or about 860 USD.I want to play games at 1600x900 med-high , though ultra is always welcome.I am mostly playing single player RPG games,GTA like games, fighting games like SF,MK and strategy games like total war series. Here's what I am thinking:

GPU : r9 270x or gtx 660
Cabinet : Can't decide, I want it to be below Rs 4000
Ram : Corsair vengeance 8 gb 1600 mhz - Rs 6000
Monitor : Some 1600x900 19-21 inch monitor under Rs 6000 (not decided exact one yet)
PSU : Cooler master thunder 600w - Rs 4000
CPU : Can't decided here - really confused between amd and intel lol
HDD : Seagate barracuda 1 TB
Motherboard : Can't decide this one too .. was thinking about h81 due to budget thing :p

I am actually stuck between choosing i3 4130 vs fx 6300.I don't know which one would be better for my gaming needs. Also I can prolly get a better GPU like gtx 760 or r9 280 if I go i3 4130/fx 6300+h81 mobo , otherwise I was thinking to get i5 4440+h81/h87 mobo with gtx 660 or r9 270x.Both i3 4130 and fx 6300 are like Rs 7000 for me while i5 4440 is Rs 12000.I am really confused in this matter , I will appreciate any help and suggestions on this matter.Thank you in advance :D

i5 4440 - 11500
h81 gigabyte mobo - 3600
seagate 1tb 7200 rpm - 3700

psu - antec vp 500w 3700 / antec neoeco 520w
gpu - gtx 960 18000
acer or dell 20 inch 5000-6000
get a normal cabinet and spend it the money on gpu . intex has cabinet about 1100 which looks decent

It takes almost 2 hours to find products but for our Indian bro we can do anything :D
I know it is very difficult to find products in India as it costs a lot comparable to usd.
For my first built I also suffered from this conditions. ... This will be the extreme gaming built for your budget. ... Go for it. You can pick any monitor which is 1080p and pick any keyboard. ... Great built, Best luck. ....

(Don't forget to select the best answer :D, that will worth for my efforts, lol :D :p

Hey guys , Thnx alot for your answers and I really appreciate your efforts Durgesh bhai :D Yeah its really hard to find good hardware here in India and its really expensive :( Btw yaar is fx 6300 good cpu for older and current games? I heard alot that i5 beats fx 6300 to dust though i5 is alot expensive :p

Eric won't gtx 960 be a bit too much for 1600x900 gaming? I can't really get a 1920x1080+ monitor without spending at least Rs 2500+ extra which I dont want to , so I am limiting myself to a 1600x900 monitor. So is it a overkill or good pick ? Also will h81 mobo support everything efficiently? can it lead to bottlenecks? Thank you very much guys for your answers again :)

if u are gaming at 1600x900 and at 1080p that gpu will handle all the game at ease and it will also be future proof , and i use to have r9 270x 2gb asus , it could hardly play bf4 at high with good fps . so i sold it and bought gtx 970 instead .. r9 270x is a entry level gaming gpu to high setting and modern games requires better gpu .. witcher 3 requires gtx 760 for playing it at med

r9 280 runs like a steam engine hahhaha .. that card gets heats up too fast under-load and there has been some issues related to that card .. have read it in this forum .. and u need a bigger well ventilated case for r9 280

I used to play bf4 with my AMD a8 6600k black edition APU without any graphics card with 30-40 fps at medium settings. R9 270x can handle all the games at medium-high settings at 40-50 fps easily at 900p. Fx is very good cpu if you have budget like this. If you try to go with Intel and need more performance than gaming then for good cpu which as same as fx 6300 like I5 4690 or 4790 or k version you need more than 15000 inr now in India. And without z97 chipset mobo, it will not good. For to be future proof you will need a z97 chipset mobo with Intel i5 4th Gen processors.... so for this India tight budget, I will recommend AMD for gaming. Go for any cpu after the AMD fx 6300 and get a good Graphics card. R9 270x will be good value for money. GTX 960 is still on 18-19k price tag in India. R9 280X has more VCore and efficiency than gtx 960. I will recommend an AMD built r9 270x or if have little more budget then r9 280 or 280x. You will need at least 600w above PSU. Remember take a good PSU, get Seasonic or evga as they have great Japanese capacitors and transformer which is great for gaming and overclocking and also they have initially 5 years warranty and will increase the life span of your rig upto 10 years which is more than enough. .... The 4 GB ram that I have suggest Corsair Vengeance is the CHEAPEST gaming ram in India with this type of performance. I will highly recommend that. The motherboard that I have suggested is future proof as it can handle future SLI and and crossfire easily. ... Get a fx and Good 970 chipset mobo. ...It will worth. ....

why go for lower performance cpu-mobo , when u can afford intel stronger processor ...
talking about budget cpu and mobo combination + cpu cooler which u suggested comes around (7600+7800+1200) 16.6k
Vs
intel i5 4440 + h81 mobo 15.2-15.5k ... better in performance and lower cost .. its up to buyer to pick his choice

Hey guys , Thnx alot for everyone's help.I have decided to go as following :

cpu - i5 4440
gpu -gtx 960
ram -corsair vengeance x2 4gb
psu -antec vp 650w
motherboard-h81
monitor-http://www.primeabgb.com/benq-20-inch-g2025hda-lcd-monitor.html(suggest me a better one if u see there!)
hdd -seagate 1 tb
cabinet -CM elite 311

Its about Rs 53000 but I am buying from local stores so expecting to get a discount and reduce it to Rs 50000.Plz suggest me any improvements or cost reductions if possible and thank you very much again.Special thnx to Durgesh for your hard work bro :D

PS: Btw will h81 mobo work efficiently with this setup ? It won't slow down or bottleneck anything , right? Also will 500w PSU work for this rig? I am getting it for about rs 1000 lesser.

everything looks great .. btw the monitor is TN panel type , i prefer IPS panel .. IPS panels are great .. and if u are buying 960 u can get 550w psu , gtx 960 doesnt require much of power compare to amd's
