Need Help Building A New PC

Hi PC experts! I am new to the PC building industry and have been given a budget of about $1500-$1600 to build a new PC. I have been looking through some forums and advice but I am still unsure of how to use my given budget to get the best product possible. So I am writing this to kindly ask for you experts out there to help me pick out parts that would be the best for my money. Here are some preferences I would like and thanks in advance!

Preferences:
-i5 4670k CPU
-Ability to overclock
-1 GPU but would be considering a 2-way-sli in the future as its still quite unstable now
-For mostly gaming uses as well as a tiny bit of editing

Also, please include a monitor and OS in the build thanks! (Those 2 sadly have to be in my budget as well)

This build has an I5. If you want to edit seriously, go for the I7.

Otherwise take my build and drop it to the same I5.

Nah. The build i siggested has all parts for cheaper and it also includes a 144hz monitor which decreases image tear and gives better fluidity while gaming ( i own one, its great)

I prefer IPS above 144Hz monitors.

Ok i have something against seagate as many of drives failed for many people, including me. I lost 2 500GB drives :S

Before you consider the 2 options, to consider this, this wiil Cost you less and you can still add one more GTX 760 if you want and the reason why i choose windows 7 is because it has better compatibility than windows 8.

Windows 7 is older. Microsoft is likely to improve the start button. SLIing is never a good option if you can buy 1 high end card instead.

Many problems with the build above. I dont have time to name them. MSI, seagate, 12 of ram for that price...WTF, ocz ssd ( they r bankrupt),... too many problems

LOL picky picky. While I agree with half of that. Seagate and OCZ I do not agree with at all.

I never said ocz is bad. Its good but it went bankrupt so im worried about the warranty. Regardinh seagate, personal experience and friends experience.
