Hey guys! Im slowly making my way into the PC Masterrace field, but Im in a need of a little help from my techy friends. First off let me start by saying that this will be a rather long post, but I greatly appreciate those who read and help me through this hurdle. I have never built a PC from scratch before, but I watched a few youtube videos and read a couple of step by step articles and I found it rather easy to do.
I have done a little research on the matter, so most of this is just basically a check list to see if each part will work together. I'd really hate for the hype of me putting my build together only to find out that my MOBO or something doesnt support it or something. ( You guys kinda get my idea ) or if you guys have any tips for a better bang for my buck.
I have roughly 1.5 - 2k to spend on this project and I'll have my build along with links to the parts that I want to grab. I'll also need to buy monitors, a keyboard and mouse, and any other little accessories.
My intent on building this is to stream games as well as make videos. ie: LoL, Dota, Dragon Age Inquisition, Witcher 3. Maybe console games as well. In terms of which brands is best to buy or brands that flat out terrible in terms of parts or how its made I have no idea. Also do parts flow better if they're all from the same brand?

This is my build so far:

Keep in mind that I will browse for better deals on multiple websites, its just Im using this as refference for now.
Absolutely no idea if that MOBO is good or not. I just went off of reviews from others. Again for the CPU most gamers preffered the 4690k so I decided to also add that in. Most people said that for gaming / video making 16GB of ram would be decent, 32+ for any super heavy editing or what not. I'm not too good at editing to be honest so Im guessing 16 is okay. I've heard people say dont rush into buying too much RAM because you can always add more later.
The 700 series is what seems to be popular for Nvidia GPU's. The 780 is so expensive! But I guess its because its a single GPU perhaps not too sure. My choice on the SSD and not HDD is just for the fact that I saw reviews of SSD just outright beating HDD's so I'm willing to spend a few more bucks there for the speed. I've always heard of Sandisk and they've been around as long as Ive known so Im trusting they're good.
As for the PSU I know for starters that going cheap on it is bad and could just damage your whole system. I dont know how to calculate how much watts I'd need? If thats event he correct term for this build Same thing goes for the DVD driver. I dont think it's that important as most things are downloadable nowdays right?
As for the case, I'm still debating. All I hear people say is that it needs good airflow, so I'll do more research on that later. That and also the standard fans they give are horrible. Which leads me to another question if liquid cooling is good or not? Water and components are usually bad, and from what I searched for its a mixed bag of good and bad from people.
To be honest I'm more concerned about what goes in the tower itself at the moment rather then the monitors and all the other small things. If you've stuck with me for this long thank you! Im open and willing to hear any advice on components I could change to get better mileage out of my money.
I know this was rather long, but Im very thankful to those who read this all the way. I appreciate you techy guys helping me out who love building these awesome machines through varies budgets. I welcome any feedback good or bad along with reasons why on the matter. Thanks guys! Mahalo from Hawaii!

power supply-corsair rm series.if you go to corsairs site they explain the capabilities of their power supplies. check out the power supplies here -> http://www.corsair.com/en/power-supply-units . water cooling is always a good way to go if you're over clocking. if you cant afford a custom loop i would suggest a swiftech h220x. its expandable meaning you can add other radiators to it, plus, the h220x has a copper radiator. copper is better at dissipating heat.case wise i would suggest a corsair carbide air 540. nothing but airflow in that case and support for multiple radiators at almost any size. as for ssd,to me i think samsung is the best.ive seen alot of sdd benchmarks and samsung is always at the top.gpu for the money you're...

Thanks for the replies guys! I know or at least think everything starts from the MOBO. So I'm doing more research on the types. @ Donald Thanks for the link on the prebuilt pc's. Im leaning more towards building my own PC now. Just to say hey I built my own as an acheivement. @Thesocialist Thank you for the PSU links aswell and info on copper radiator. As for the GPU its so hard to decide because there's so many mixed reviews but I will look into the r9 290x.

okay for 1,5k you can build a rig with a 980 and everything you need and have 500 left for good peripherals (200monitor, 200 on mouse and keybord and 100 headphones)

I will update this post with the exact parts but here is the jist of it:
z97 mobo
i5 4690k + noctua nh d14 cooler
2x8gb 1600mhz ram (the ram you have is way too expensive)
gtc 980
250gb-500gb ssd(for frequently used stuff and windows)
1tb baracude hdd (media and other games)
quality 600w psu
case that fits this and has decent airflow(should be more than 70 dollars)
2-4 fans depending on the case

The build you have right now is very unbalanced

I put togheter a build like this, just a bit weaker, on the german amazon and it cost me around 1500e, but you guys have muc cheaper prices so it should be below 1,5k

Ok here is the full part list:

If that is too much you can cut down the cost you could go with a cheaper monitor( 100$ less) and weaker gpu(like a gtx 970 or a r9 290x which are both ~200$ cheaper)
