Need Help. Built New Computer getting No Signal.

Mobo ASROCK P67 EXTREME4 GEN3
PSU Corsair (750W) TX750M
CPU INTEL CORE i5 2500k 3.3G 6M
MEM 4Gx2|KST KVR1333D3N9K2/8G
VGA EVGA|01G-P3-1460-KR GTX560 1G

I hope someone can help me. I took my graphics card and put it in another comp, and it worked fine. screen still showed no signal for me.I also tried taking diff Ram cards from the other comp that tested the graphics card and put it in mine, and still nothing.... all fans are working, everything turns on. all connections are secure. Maybe the Mobo slot for my graphics card is broken? idk... Please help if you can!!! Maybe the mother board is DOA? I'm lost atm, don't know what else to do...

1) make sure the 8 pin connector is connected to the motherboard. That is the most common issue.

2) Reset the CMOS

3) try with another PSU if you have one, just in case even if the fans are running.

4) You can of course try another PCIe slot on the motherboard than the first 16x from the top one.


Most likely though if the above have been tested your mobo is DOA.

to clear CMOS, does it matter if the comp is on or anything?

There should be instructions for you specific mobo in the motherboards manual.

Usually it requires you to change a jumper and turn the computer on
or press a button on the mobo as you boot up,
or possibly removing and re-inserting the bios battery.
