helllo,

i need help choosing good graphic card and im looking forward to RX series because its price and performance but im confused between aftermarket Asus strix 470 and radeon reference 480 the price of the rx 480 is very high than its real price same as gtx 1060 in my country but im assuming that the reference version will come at low price and assuming that it will be in stock in the next days , i know that the 480 reference still better than 470 but the cooler of it is a problem so which one i should get ?

my build :

Intel i5 4430 + 212 evo
B85-HD3 GIGABYTE
Corsair 750cx
8GB hyperx rams

thanks in advance

Solution
for 1080 gaming, between those 2, id go asus 470. if you plan to run 1440 or 4k, the 8gb 480 because you can crossfire in the future without a vram bottleneck. I preordered the asus 480 8gb myself, but i assume thats about $400 in egypt.
AMD gpu's are allways hot, so if you main consern is the temperatures and money on a budget gpu you may consider the Asus GTX 1060 Turbo 6GB (http://www.asus.com/Graphics-Cards/TURBO-GTX1060-6G/overview/)
is a full PCB version

Egypt

thanks for your reply .. the card you mentioned in my country is over 350 USD and unfortunaly my budget is around 260 USD

here is a chart of some different GPU's and their performance, see if your budget can buy any of these
