I'm confused zzz.Xtreme5 is saying that gtx 580 is the best choice, but in other threads they say RADEON 7950 is better than GTX 580.
If I understood you right OC Radeon 7950 will be same as 2 gtx 560 in performance?

Yes it will.

Moreover, hd 7950 is better than GTX 580 definitely. But I doubt you'll be able to get HD 7950 at your place, there doesn't seem to be any in stock at the websites you linked.

Also, what do you mean buying over internet? Aren't the shops you linked in the internet? :)

I meant not from Bulgaria :)
I found in multirama.bg Sapphire HD7950 3 GB? 764BGN(my money)
So Sapphire HD7950 3 GB Overclocked is my best choice?

it does not go that way if u see the gtx 690 is the best graphic card, easily beats a hd 7970. But when we come to gtx 580 vs hd 7950 i'd say hd 7950 wins. 😀

The motherboard?
if you want to upgrade the cpu in the future then go with z77 chipset, if you want to stay with 2500k then stay with z68 chipset. the motherboard which i'm going to suggest you without knowing your bugdet i'd go with the asus p8z68 vpro gen3.

@uahmed, if you don't have much experience with any component then please stay away from that.
:non:
and be careful next time.

I'll get Radeon HD 7950 but Sapphire?and what does it mean to crossfire it?What about power supply?thanks and btw what pc u got?

i too had a bad experience with asrock motherboard. Don't no it was a coincidence or what, But now i only trust intel or asus

If I buy i5-2500K do I have to overclock asap?can I overclock later on because when you overclock gpu for example you shorten it life?is that true(hope you understood me)and is Radeon HD 7950 better than GTX 580 only if overclocked?

Yes, it does shorten its life. Electronics serve up to 20 years, and overclocked parts lifetime is around half of that. I don't know who told you asrock made bad products, I use one myself and it's working perfectly fine.

look at the benchmarks, see for ur self

http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/517?vs=550

gtx 580 is behind 7950 in most games and in some games where beats 7950 its not by much fps 7950 is the real deal runs cooler and has much less power consumption

If u OC 7850 it'll beat gtx 580 in all games but i don't think u need to OC U could get a playable frame rate at a decent resolution

Is i5-2500k the best choice for cpu? for gaming I don't need i7(no need hyper-threading) so better invest more money into gpu.
Do I have to overclock when I build my pc? or can I do that later..?And Sapphire Radeon HD 7950 is the best choice right...
