Hi guys,

My first ever post and my first ever pc build!

I've decided upon all parts except the power supply and a case.

My build so far is:

  • MSI Z370-A PRO (motherboard)

    i5 8400 2.8GHz (CPU)

    Crucial Ballistix 16GB Kit (8GBx2) DDR4 2400 MT/s (RAM)

Palit NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB DUAL Graphics Card (GPU)

    Samsung 860 EVO 250GB 2.5” SATA 3D SSD/Solid State Drive (storage)

WD 1 TB PC Hard Drive - Blue (storage)

Would you guys be able to help me choose a power supply and case, and also let me know if I'm being dumb and have forgotten anything.

SIDE NOTE: The CPU comes with a CPU cooler.

Thanks in advance.

Your system will draw under 250W in full load so a 550W great quality PSU will be plenty.

EVGA SuperNOVA G3 550W will be my recommendation.

If you're on a tighter budget the Corsair CX550M it's decent and will be enough.

Thanks for the response and the recommendations chumP, I will most likely go for the EVGA SuperNOVA G3 550W.

I just want to add, what's your thoughts on the build?

It seems that I'm now just in search for a case and I'm open to suggestions for them too.

Again, thanks for your response.

Build looks pretty good... I'm guessing you'll upgrade your CPU in the future, because you went with a Z370 board.
As for the case, the NZXT H500 it's a popular and solid choice.

I'm assuming the case is able to fit in all the components snuggly?

Will I need any additional fans for the case or just one fan, for the CPU?

EDIT: Sorry for all the questions, it's just I want to ensure I'm prepared for my first build.

It will fit everything.
The case has already included 2 fans. One in the back and one in the front.
