I'm currently looking to upgrade either my CPU/Mobo OR my GPU but I'm kind of stuck as to which one to pick.
Currently I'm using an AMD 8350 with an ASRock 990FX Extreme4. My GPU is the Zotac GTX770 4gb.
The upgrades I'm considering are Intel's 4690k with Z97 board OR a GTX 980ti that I haven't quite picked out yet.
The big issue is that I cannot afford to upgrade everything at once since its a pretty big hit. I'm gaming at 1440p right now so the 770 is holding me back a little; I'm just not sure if using the 980ti with my older 8350 is the best course of action. I can't seem to get a stable overclock on it with my old board since I'm not good at OCing at all even with guides.
I'd greatly appreciate any recommendations that you guys could give me.
