Need help, computers messed up

Hi, I'm running a windows 8.1 computer and it recently stopped letting me use the Internet, but it's still connecting wireless to my wifi. I tried troubleshooting and in the end decided to recover to a few days prior to see the effects, and now my computer still fails to connect to the Internet, and I am getting a window saying, for example, raptrstub.exe - Bad Image, with a error status 0xc000012f.
When I press ok it keeps coming back up with different programs saying the same issue.

If anyone has any advice it would be much appreciated

What kind of computer is this a laptop or desktop and did you purchase this pre built if it was a desktop or did you build it yourself?

It's a desktop that a built myself

Looks like it might be associated with Raptr: http://support.raptr.com/support/discussions/topics/5000035900. Do you have Raptr installed? Have you tried uninstall Raptr to see if that resolves the problem? Alternatively, it appears that it could be a trojan or malware. So, be sure to run antivirus and related programs.

To get rid of that uninstall raptr which in your control panel under programs and features it should be there. For the internet you should try reset the router you're trying to connect to

Ok, uninstalling it worked for the messages, thanks,
But I've already disconnected the router and all that stuff, it's something with my computer since everything else in my house can connect to the router and use the Internet atm

can you uninstall the wirless network card drivers and reinstall them

Do you have another wireless network adapter you can try on it?

Unfortunately not 🙁 I've only got the one I installed when I built it

You could try reformat it I personally in that situation would try it, we know your router isnt the issue and restoring it isnt enough so if you can try doing a fresh install of windows and the drivers and see how that goes

If I do that will I just need to put my windows 8.1 oem disk back in after its restarted and set the computer up again?

yeah make sure to boot to the disk and select custom install select the hard drive and select format then install on it thats all also make sure you have your wireless network drivers handy after the install so you can download and install all the other drivers youll need

aslong as its on the same computer you just cant use that disc on a new computer
