HELP !

NOTE: I Plugged the vga cable into the r7 250

i cant find the G41 chipset in Device manager

i cant find it in the BIOS

so the Chipset isnt read as working but it still working and getting too hot and crashes the windows

Solution
Hello... Then the "Intel® GMA X4500" must be shut off in your MB BIO's... and is not running in the background.
1) Please try running your computer without a side cover for better cooling.
2) Replace the thermal Compound on the Chipset heatsink.
3) Place a fan over/near the chipset heatsink for additional cooling needs.
you can't disable a chipset, but you should be able to disable onboard graphics.

that being said, if you are connected to your r7-250, and your chipset is overheating, something else is probably wrong. check the chipset heatsink on your motherboard to make sure it is still present and mounted properly.

Hello... 1) You may need to "re-apply" thermal paste to your Chipset heat sink... if it is Dry. Moist/Wet thermal paste is needed.
2) You can disable any hardware device "Intel® GMA X4500" in the Control panel-Device Manager, with a click of your mouse... Make sure your Asus r7 250 is working and is set/connected as the primary video output device before doing this.

its mounted normally and its heating

i cant find anything in the device manager -> Display adapters and the R7 250 is the main primary video output

hey i re-newed the thermal paste and i am putting a fan near it and everything but it still gettin overheated and crashed the windows... HELP !

Hello... 1) Was the old Thermal Paste dry?
2) What CPU are you using with this MB?
3) What memory are you using with this MB.
4) Are there any budging capacitors around your CPU socket voltage regulators?
5) Are you using any Overclock apps or Non-default settings.
6) What Graphics settings/resolutions are you running.
5) What is error messages associated with the "crashes"?
6) What is the temperature in the Computer Room?

1)yes it was dry
2Core 2 Quad Q9400
34gb Ddr3 1333mhz
4)No
5)No i didnt overclock anything
6)1024x768
5)The Whole Windows FREEZE and after time of freezing gets me blue screen
6)about 20-25 c

Hello... A Blue Screen BSOD means a Communication problem between hardware and Windows... Bad/Wrong Drivers can cause this too.
You could have bumped another hardware device loose when you installed the Video card, or your Video card is miss alligned when you tightened the screw to the case.
1) Try running Windows without the NEW video card a while to see if you still Blue Screen/BSOD.
2) Inspect and clean all your MB Power connections and Plug in hardware.
3) Your Power Supply Could Over be the problem OR wearing out... got a spare to try?

Your Video card is not very powerful at all ( old tech )... and I would NOT consider it a 'Gaming card' model. http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/gpu.php?gpu=Radeon+R7+250

I would recommend you returning the card and getting a modern designed 2GB GPU for bf3's Wonderful high detail programming.
Your Quad core CPU will be able to handle/balance a better Video card too. B ) http://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu=Intel+Core2+Quad+Q9400+%40+2.66GHz

1) i tried and it was working normally on the integrated chipset

2)Clean

3)My Psu doesnt heat at all

ik its not a gaming gpu but it can run bf3 on ultra setting but i made it low settings to decrease heat and that failed didnt change a thing

Hello... * Read above my updated advice... You have not presented me with a error message that confirms your "G41 chipset" is at fault... my evidence I'm presented with is...
1) Problem started with Video card install.
2) Problem happens during BF3
3) BSOD with no error message while playing BF3 with the NEW video card.

Am I missing anything here?

I feel your Video card is not up to the Task of BF3... as the problem started then.

Thats my question up there and check the sentences between the(*) marks

Hello... a "chipset" has communications for your CPU, hardware, MB, and software... YOU Cant disable your g41 chipset !!! What your trying to say is "The ON-Board VGA hardware needs to be Disabled"... This can be done manually or automatically depending on your BIO's setting for it. Since you told me the "Intel® GMA X4500" is NOT showing up in your Windows control panel-Device manager AS a "Display adapter" Then I MUST concur that it is Automatically being shut off in your BIO's, when your NEW Video card is Plugged in.

Check your MB manual/PDF for instructions on HOW TO change or inspect the current setting in your MB BIO's. B )
