Hello... Then the "Intel® GMA X4500" must be shut off in your MB BIO's... and is not running in the background.
1) Please try running your computer without a side cover for better cooling.
2) Replace the thermal Compound on the Chipset heatsink.
3) Place a fan over/near the chipset heatsink for additional cooling needs.
Hello... Remember to always "SAVE & Exit" any Bio's setting change.

Ok good... it IS disabled when you plug the card in... So stop blaming the "G41 Chipset" and start opening your mind to other reasons and experiments in getting your Computer to Run BF3 good... Your New graphics Card is a weak investment with your $$ for this purpose.

Hello... Once again... a "chipset" has communications for your CPU, hardware, MB, and software... It will Heat and use Power always... it is the Communication Hiway to about everything... with the "G" models you got added bonus of a integrated VGA display... and was popular in office machines as LOW cost option. Intel just puts most of it in the CPU now... and you can disable the HD VGA in the BIO's the same way.

Most people on here would tell you, You are crazy to use what you got as a BF3 gaming computer. My experience with a 775 Quad core and a GTX 750 ( or better ) would get you playable... Drop the card for this purpose... You have a OFFICE machine video card NOT a 3D graphics accelerator... that's what a GTX vs GT card is.

Hello... Think of the "Game Settings" as the GAS pedal of your Hardware... The BF3 Software has the ability to Overdrive CPU's, Graphic cards, and Power Supplies to a Heated Death... in my early days of Video card upgrades, I saw a many of my Power supplies "Spit Out" flames.

As a "Simple Test" Reduce all the Graphics setting to the lowest and see if you are Playable yet... Due to the Low End performance of your Parts, Start at the Bottom of the Settings and SLOWLY start moving them up. B )

Yes... I have a 775 dual core and 4gb ddr2 WIN XP machine, GTX8800, and can do SC2 with it... But it runs and looks Like CRAP!!! the Graphic card cant handle the settings I use with my GTX 760 PC. I don't enjoy the Game with my 775 and GTX8800... And YES it is Playable BUT NOT enjoyable, and the Hardware struggles with it.

In my History of Upgrades and Building PC's, I upgrade the GPU 3x's per CPU model... The GPU is the most important part in respect to what your eyes and mind will see... it is the focus of your attention... Why wouldn't you want to treat your Eyes and Mind to the best experience your money can buy? This is what I have learned.

Hello... You MB is Old, Your Power supply could be getting weaker... there are a lot of very small electrical connections here, and all your hardware is working at very fast speeds AND high electrical currents... and Yes more problems can, and will, appear due to Heat and extreme data rates... This happens with everything... Cars, Planes, Rockets, manufacturing machines, and PC's. There is a lot time and $$$ put into maintenance and upgrades to these machines... the #1 item on all the lists of maintenance Men Is To Clean and Inspect all your Electrical connections, AND will be the first thing a Supervisor will Ask you... if you did? B )

Time to do some "Maintenance" or try some New hardware ( software ? )... or give up on BF3 on your PC?

Here are General performance and price charts on Graphic cards and CPU's to see what other peoples machines that Run BF3 good on are using.
