Need help finding a usb component to share internet.

I'm looking for a usb device that allows me to use the current connection in my desktop and share it to another device. A USB to Ethernet device is what I'm trying to find. I have found some but it seems they only provide internet to a device via their usb. Could I use that device and give internet through my usb port to another device?

How is your desktop connected to the internet? Using your PC as a router is not the best answer usually.

It's hardwired to the router. I just need to plug in one thing to my PC.

If your PC is hard wired to the router, then just get an ethernet switch. It will allow multiple devices to be connected to the wired ethernet. They are available for <$20 ...
