I have been looking for a heatsink for a few days now to no avail, and also PM'd multiple people who have refused to help me, so I'm kinda desperate here.

Can someone please help me find a heatsink that correctly fits my ASUS M5A78L-M PLUS. I've never had to buy a new heatsink, so I honestly have no clue what I'm looking for. It has a rectanglular screw layout and a backplate, and the board is AM3+, if that helps any.

Solution
One of best cheap coolers if you can get it (not available everywhere) http://www.lc-power.com/en/product/power-supplies/lc-cc-120/
Or anything in that range. 3 - 4 cooling pipes and 120mm fan.

@romirez, that's not a cooler.
Also depends on CPU, which one do you have ? Obviously a cooler for 2 core CPU wouldn't work well with some 8 core. Otherwise, all aftermarket coolers come with a list of compatible applications.
Some use those standard AM bases and some come with own mounts.
