Need help finding good modem

So right now I have the Standard Time Warner Cable Internet plan and I am leasing one of their modems but I would like to stop leasing it and buy one. I also already have a Linksys E2000 router that I am using with my modem. I am about to get a TiVo Roamio Plus and connect it via MoCA so if there is one better for that please reccommend it. I am just looking for the best modem for my internet speed and situation. Thanks in advance, please ask me anything if I forgot something!

Your speed is the plan you have with your ISP provider!
If you have a 20/5mbit connection you should expect 13/3.6mbit down and upload.
I would not go wireless as wired routers are generally gigabit and wireless are less.
The faster the plan the better the gaming..
I had at one time 100/50mbit and it was AWESOME! But that cost 100.00/month!
3 computers running full out gaming with no lag!

I need wireless for some of the other things in my house like my laptop and our phones. Other than that I am going to have my gaming things like my xbox's connected via moca adapters which will give me speeds the same or better than ethernet. I just don't know much modems. I need one that is "compatible" with Time Warner Cable so I can stop leasing theirs and just buy one that will work well.

My plan for the TiVo and MoCA adapters is this:

Living Room:
-Will have TiVo Roamio Plus
-Will be connected via MoCA so I will just be able to plug in coax cable into it

Modem/Router Room:
-Suggested modem and Linksys E2000 connected together
-Ethernet cable from router to MoCA adapter
-Coax cable from wall to splitter
-Coax cable from splitter to modem
-Coax cable from splitter to MoCA adapter

My bedroom:
-Ethernet cable from MoCA adapter to xbox
-Coax cable from wall to MoCA adapter
-Coax cable from MoCA adapter to TiVo Mini

So everything will be "wired" except for the extras such as laptop, phones, etc.

So what modem should I go with to achieve what I want?

I've always used D-Link gigabit routers. Right now I have an older DIR-825 it has 4 gigabit ports, wireless a,b,g,n, and a usb port for a hardrive. It is solid and sweet! Never had any issues with it since I bought it in 2010.

Can you recommend a newer one that has basically the same features since you say its a bit old?

This is the top of the line unit!
I don't know the availability of it but it has all the same stuff as mine only faster and refined!
